3. Discuss Association Status and Objectives (Dennis)

 

1. Status; Society application filed and awaiting provincial approval. Intend to affiliate with CMRC.
2. To promote responsible trail use (minimize erosion, pick up litter, clean and maintain trails, public land use advocacy, etc.)
3. To provide recreation opportunities for the members and families (group rides, monthly meetings, annual party, etc.)
4. To organize races

1. Association fees - $45/yr proposed
2. Monthly meeting proposed

5. Race Organization
1. Introductory teleconference with Permit Coordinator for Kananaskis
2. Staging location is the biggest issue to resolve

5. Event volunteers needed!!!!!
