Your RMDRA Board supports your single-track dreams!

President – Mike Tracy (2 Year Term)
The role of the President is to provide leadership to the board members and club direction. The President is required to chair the monthly board meetings and preside at all meetings of the Board/Committees or the Vice President will attend in their absences.

Vice President – Josh Boland (2 Year Term)
The Vice President provides support to the President in the event they are unavailable and performs duties assigned by the President. You basically get to be the presidential doppelgänger.

Past President – Geoff Jilg (2 Year Term)
To advise and support the current board leadership. Geoff is currently advising himself, he’s that good. We want to thank Geoff Jilg for his leadership over the years and look forward to continuing to provide support and wisdom for the new board members.

Land Advocacy Director – Paul Jones (2 Year Term)
The role of the Land Advocacy Director is to engage with the community, local government officials and attend land advocacy related events. The Land Advocacy Director will provide updates to the board on land advocacy issues and identify ways the RMDRA can get involved. They pretty much have Mother Nature speed dial.

Trail Maintenance Directors – Steve Jeffries with support from Marco Cussigh (2 Year Term)
Our Trail Maintenance Directors manage trail upkeep activities within the areas of McLean Creek and Ghost-Waiparous. They oversee a range of activities including connecting with government approval groups, conducting trail assessments, managing trail closures, organizing volunteer maintenance days, as well as preparation and construction days. Our Trail Maintenance Directors are also in charge of training and have the important task of engaging with the community to drive awareness on proper land use. You can call them yetis!

Club Nights Director – Vacant (Looking to fill this role) (2 Year Term)
RMDRA hosts weekly Club Nights from May to September, where we all get together to ride, as long as the weather permits. The Club Nights Director coordinates and sources volunteers, develops and leads the navigator training sessions and also promotes Club Nights. Always ready to ride and socialize.

Social Media Director – Vacant (Looking to fill this role) (2 Year Term)
The Social Media Director helps promote RMDRA club events, trail maintenance initiatives, land advocacy work and all the ways we are contributing to our community as an active club. They also work to provide general awareness to the dirt bike community while growing member pride, increasing our market reach and attracting new members. Additional responsibilities include supporting and promoting our incredible sponsors through social media and managing our YouTube channel. Finger on the pulse and on the like button.

Forum & Web Director – Marco Cussigh (2 Year Term)
The Web Directors role is to manage the RMDRA website and RMDRA Community Forum. This role works to develop and maintain a user-friendly platform, keeping our RMDRA members and the greater dirt bike community up to date and informed on club activities. Supporting your RMDRA addiction one click at a time.

Fundraising/Marketing Director – Ryan Nagy
The role of the Fundraising/Marketing Director is to develop promotional campaigns and events to drive club awareness. Additional responsibilities include sponsorship development, annual sponsor drives, as well as managing and organizing our casino fundraiser. With a club this awesome this job practically does itself.

Race Director – Vacant (Looking to fill this role)
The Race Director role is one that works closely with AMSA Off-road, and Government groups to plan, organize, promote and host one of the top offroad motorcycle races here in Alberta, the Dirty Moose.

Treasurer – Anthony Palaschuck (3 Year Term)
The RMDRA treasurer manages the club finances, including the collection and deposit of funds, invoicing, financial reporting, audits and spending oversight. You could still mail us a cheque, but thankfully we’ve gone digital.

Secretary – Karly Cussigh (2 Year Term)
The RMDRA secretary manages general club business such as scheduling, booking and attending all meetings, capturing meeting minutes, coordinating annual events (AGMs, kickoff and close out banquets, Dirty Moose Race), maintaining club records, as well as supporting the President and Vice President as required. This task master gets to wear all the hats.

Board Roles is a TWO YEAR term Commitment with the exception of the Treasurer role. We meet monthly for approximately 2 to 3 hours with additional volunteer hours outside of the board meetings for project work.
